Craps is a confusing online casino game for new players. Craps is a game of rounds. In Craps, the Come Out roll is the first roll in a round. Pay special attention if a 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12 is rolled on the Come out roll, because it immediately ends a round. Sporadically the outcome of a round will be decided on the Come out roll. When and if any other total number is rolled (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) that number is called the Point .

At the beginning of a round, the first roll of the dice in a betting round is called the Come Out roll. The come out roll is made when the previous shooter fails to make a winning roll, stated differently, they did not succeed in making the Point or seven out.

Several types of bets can be made on the table action. The players at the Craps table get a chance to throw (shoot) the dice in turn. If you don't want to throw the dice, you can bet on the thrower.

The dice are rolled out across the craps table layout. Let's explain, the layout is divided into three areas - two side areas that are separated by a center one. The center area contains the Proposition bets and is shared by the two side areas. Each side area is the replica of the other and contains the following: Odds bet, Place bets and Field bets, Pass and Don't Pass line bets, Come and Don't Come bets.

Winning/losing plays

Pass Bets wins when the come out roll is 7 or 11.

Pass bets lose when the come out roll is 2, 3, or 12.

Don't Bets lose when the "come out" roll is a 7 or 11.

Don't Bets win when the "come out" roll is a 2 or 3.

Don't bets tie when the come out roll is 12 (in some online casinos a 2; the 'Bar' roll on the layout shows which roll is treated as a tie).

Kinds of Bets at Craps

Pass Line Bet - you win if the initial roll is a natural (7, 11) and you lose if it is craps (2, 3, 12).

Odds on Pass Line Bet - following a point rolled you can make this bet by taking odds. There are different payoffs for every point.

Come Bet the same rules apply as the Pass Line bet. The only difference is the fact that you can only make this bet only after the point on the pass line has been determined.

Odds on Come Bet - Precisely the same as the Odds on Pass Line bet, with the only difference that you take odds on the Come Bet, not on the Pass Line bet.

Don't Pass Line Bet - This is a reversed Pass Line bet. If the opening roll of a dice is a 2 or a 3 you win. If it is a natural (7, 11) you lose.

Don't Come Bet - The reversed Come Bet. After the come point is established you win if a 2 or 3 is rolled, and lose for 7 or 11.

Place Bets - This bet works only after the point has been determined. Players place a bet on a dice roll of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. An 8 pays 7:6. This bet can be rescinded anytime you want.

Field Bets - bets on one roll (one roll of two dice). If a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12 is rolled you win. A 5, 6, 7 and 8 otherwise you lose.
